A couple of weeks ago, I played my first concert in over five years. It was completely unexpected, but I don’t think I could have had a more perfect “return” to music if I’d planned it. It was a children’s concert with the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra, meaning that my husband and all three of our children got to be in the audience. My children are already well-steeped in the world of classical music. They hear to me practice, we listen to lots of different pieces together, and I’ve made an effort to take them to as many concerts as possible. But being able to take them to a concert in which I was up on stage… that was special. The whole experience felt like the universe nudging me along, letting me know I’m on the right path. And with that, welcome to Great Marsh Music Studio!
